A couple of days left in the Falklands and a bit more than week to go to Tristan da Cunha, the remotest inhabited island in the South Atlantic Ocean. Spending six weeks on the island is a privilege and it will be a unique experience. The centre would like to thank in advance Tristan da Cunha Administration for the opportunity given. We will try and make the most of it and ensure that the time spent in teaching GIS (QGIS) and some basic data management practice would be useful to the local community. We are looking forward to being there and meeting everyone. A blog about the time spent on Tristan will be posted once back to the Falkland Islands.
